Somayeh Fathali is an assistant professor at Alzahra University. Her main research interest is Teaching English as a Foreign Langue (TEFL) with a special focus on the use of technology for language learning including, Computer-Assisted Language learning (CALL), and Mobile-Assisted Language Learning (MALL), CALL history and theory, CALL literacy, technology acceptance, online learning environments, and intercultural studies. She received her doctoral degree from Tohoku University, Japan. She studied TEFL (M.A.) and English Literature (B.A.) at Alzahra University, Iran. She has publications in well-known journals such as CALL-EJ, and Australasians Journal of Educational Technology.
